ReplyDeleteMansi, sundal is the name given to the preparation of this type of channa in Tamil. It was funny for me too when I was new to Tamil nadu. Kind of used to it now.

ReplyDeleteYeah I too agree, It makes lot of difference if we add lime/lemon juice to sundal....we call chana chat while adding red onions n cilantro :)
