DSC02989
As I've metioned in my RCI Tamil Festivals post, I'm a christian and so not accquainted with all these festivals. But since all you bloggers are making Sundal as one of the dish. I decided that I will send my Tamil nadu Sundal as an entry for this blog Event..JFS:Dassera hosted by Past Present and Me and the Yum Blog. This event JFI was started by Indira

  4. Sirisha and Asha thanx

Mansi, sundal is the name given to the preparation of this type of channa in Tamil. It was funny for me too when I was new to Tamil nadu. Kind of used to it now.

  15. Yeah I too agree, It makes lot of difference if we add lime/lemon juice to sundal....we call chana chat while adding red onions n cilantro :)

  16. Hey Bhanu, thats my GM's name - The Angel lady. Thanks

Padma, if we add red onions and cilantro yes it becomes the North Indian Channa Chat. Thats why Chick peas are so versatile.
