Apple Pie In "Big Apple" Factory

An apple a day keeps ........ away. We hear this phrase from ages. And why not !!!! Though we enjoy all types of apples just as a fruit or in any other form...Juices, Cider, Desserts, etc. One Dessert in which it is cherished by all exceptionally, is the Apple Pie. When we think Apple in a Dessert the first thought takes us to the sweet aroma of Apple Pie. All the more when they are freshly baked.

We had a treat of Apple pies this Summer as we visited the Big Apple pie Factory with kids.

There Apple Pies especially the Mumble Crumble(in the picture above) is the best Apple Pie I ever tasted.

We first visited this place on our way to "Thousand Islands". It was a short. We just stopped there to buy some yummy tasting Apple pies.I still can't forget that cute little apple pie (just right for a couple) which I got to taste sitting in the cruise across the Thousand Islands.

It you are visiting or live in Ontario, this is a must place you have to visit if you are dessert lovers.

Take a virtual tour of the Big Apple Factory now:

You have a wide variety of freshly baked Apple pies to choose from here. Starting from the Basic Regular Apple pie, the Old fashioned Apple pie to Apple Caramel and to different fruit flavoured mixed Apple pies. Like the Peach Apple, Strawberry Apple, Blue berry Apple etc...
They are all priced CAD 10.00/-

The box Apple Pies are only for take out. If we want to dine in there they have a restuarant where you can buy the small apple pie and enjoy it with a hot coffee or tea along wiht other fast foods available in the restaurant.

This is the place where the Apple Pies are baked. Its oven can bake 144 pies at once. Inside the restaurant you can observe how they begin from an apple to a delicious pie from the large glass windows.

Hey Rina were you talking about 1000 Islands near Alexandria Bay in NY state. Those weekend homes are sheer beauty! in those small islands. We had a great time touring in the cruise. But did not get a chance to taste the apple pie :)
